Data protection is of particularly high importance to TEQneers GmbH & Co. KG. Your personal data is collected and used exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions of applicable data protection law. With this privacy policy, TEQneers informs you about the processing of personal data in the mobile applications (hereinafter uniformly referred to as the "myteam App" or simply the "App").

3. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the myteam App with all its content, features and services – within the supported operating systems (iOS, Android).
For data protection on our websites, please read the privacy policy (website).
4. Processing of personal data
Personal data is only collected, processed and used to the extent necessary to provide the myteam service, which is offered free of charge and on a voluntary basis.
Note: The myteam service does not guarantee permanent availability. Outages, changes or adjustments to the system may occur without notice and will not be compensated.
4.1. Processing when downloading and installing the App
To download the App from an app store (e.g. Google Play Store or Apple App Store), you need to register with the app store and enter into a usage agreement with the app store provider, over which we have no influence. When downloading and installing, information such as your username, email address and account ID is transferred to the respective app store. This data collection is outside our area of responsibility.
4.2. Processing when using the App
Using the myteam App requires signing in with your email address. Optionally, you can provide additional data such as a profile picture and a username.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in providing personalized usage options and social interaction features.
5. Disclosure of personal data
As a matter of principle, TEQneers does not pass on your personal data to third parties. Data is only transferred to third parties if this is technically necessary to provide the services or if there is a legal basis for it. Service providers are used exclusively to fulfill their tasks and are bound by instructions. All data is processed only in an ISO 27001 certified data center of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Physical access to the servers is controlled by Hetzner. You can find more information about data security at Hetzner here.
6. Retention of personal data
Personal data is stored for the duration of the provision of the voluntary service. Backups are created daily, but without any guarantee of continuous availability or complete restoration. Data that is not subject to any legal or contractual retention obligation will be deleted after no more than 5 years of inactivity.
7. Push notifications
The App uses push notifications. These can be adjusted or disabled at any time in the App settings. We use the technology of 650 Industries Inc. (Expo), 624 University Ave #1, Palo Alto, CA 94301, USA.
a) iOS
Open "Settings" on iOS, select "Notifications" and then the myteam App. There you can enable or disable push notifications. For more information on the settings, see the instructions from Apple.
b) Android
Open "Settings" in the Android operating system and select "Notifications" under "Sound & notification". Here you can enable or disable push notifications for the myteam App.
8. Permissions
For some features, the App needs to access certain services and data on your device. These permissions are explicitly requested.
a) iOS
Push notifications: With your consent, push notifications are sent.
Mobile data: Allows data downloads over mobile networks.
Camera use: For using the camera feature in the App when you want to take a photo.
b) Android
The App only requests basic permissions, e.g. access to internet connections.
9. Analytics
To improve the App, we use Matomo and log file statistics to collect anonymized usage data. Among other things, the data shows which features are used most and helps us make the App more stable. No personal data is processed for this purpose.
For technical stability, we use Sentry (Sentry, 1501 Mariposa St #408, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) to analyze errors and stability issues. The data is collected anonymously and is not used for advertising purposes. You can find more information about Sentry in their privacy policy.
10. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you, as well as the right to rectification, restriction of processing or erasure, provided the legal requirements are met. You can also request that your data be provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. To exercise these rights, please use the contact details given above. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority. In Stuttgart, the competent authority is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Königstraße 10a, 70173 Stuttgart.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy. The current version is available within the App and on our website.
